In 2018 Rideaway opened its first bike location at the Popponesset Marketplace to expandability to get people outside and active. As our team, fleet, and reputation grew so did our community-based partnerships and Philanthropic efforts around Cape Cod. In 2021 Rideaway partnered with the YMCA Cape Cod to open their third on-water location at Lawrence Pond in Sandwich. This location allows them to have large groups, teach clinics and create some amazing community-based events.

In 2021 they also opened our flagship bike and surf shop location at the Cape Cod Canal. The ideal location for direct access to the bike path and an amazing surf shop that highlights Cape-based brands and is a must-see for all visitors. Today they have the largest fleet of kayaks, boards, and bikes in Mashpee. They are the only fully certified ACA guide staff on Cape Cod. They have five amazing direct access locations for either kayaking, paddle boarding, or biking. Moreover, they have employed over 170 local teachers and college students. Educated over 1600 kids in our Adventure Camps and raised over $70,000 for local charities and nonprofits.

 Scusset Beach State Reservation is a state-worked, public entertainment region situated in the town of Sandwich in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, at the east finish of the Cape Cod Canal ashore previously part of Sagamore Hill Military Reservation.
